Representatives of ICT sector entities based in the Basque Country – such as IBM, Oracle, Euskaltel, Ibermática, IDE and Atos – were present at this Technology Breakfast, where they were able to delve into the challenges and guarantees offered by cloud-based services, as well as to present their concerns to the main providers of these services.

All participating companies had the opportunity to express their views through three working groups. In fact, one of the main objectives of the event was to find out the point of view of these companies on the adoption of Cloud technologies, the difficulties they encounter and the security issues that concern them.

In this way, Cloud providers have first-hand information to address these problems and design solutions in accordance with the needs of the companies that require their services.

The event ended with a series of conclusions, among which the need to apply the so-called “Cloud trilogy” to cloud services was highlighted: high availability, performance and security.
