EuroCloud supports the strategy for the European Cloud Computing Partnership

The EC launches the European Cloud Association, with an initial investment of 10 million euros.
EuroCloud supports the idea of promoting Information Technology (IT) from the public sector, as an effective means of stimulating the Cloud Computing market in Europe. This is a proposal made by the Vice-President of the European Commission and Commissioner for the Digital Agenda, Neelie Kroes, during her participation in the World Economic Forum held in Davos (Switzerland).

Cloud is not limited to Europe and is certainly suitable for all types of organisations; large, small and medium-sized companies, both in the private and public sectors.
EuroCloud intends to actively contribute to the process of establishing the European Cloud Computing Partnership (ECP) in order to support Vice-President Kroes and achieve the goals as soon as possible.
EuroCloud will assist the European Commission in the dissemination of this initiative through its European Cloud Community, the only one of its kind in the Union and present in 28 countries.
For the time being, EuroCloud has decided to carry out the largest selection of cloud use cases in the public sector in Europe. This is a monitoring operation to group these cases into a single document, showing the different key experiences of public organisations in Europe to be presented to the European Commission this year.
