The algorithm is said to find these saves increasingly important. The more often your posts are saved, the more likely your posts will appear higher in your followers' feeds - or in the 'Explore' tab.

So, an interesting metric to keep an eye on.

How often are your Instagram posts saved?
Here's how to find your Instagram post saves:

Go to (company) profile
Go to statistics

Personally, I don’t think you should specifically create content to increase saves, but because you want to add value for your followers. For that, it’s important to know your target audience. What do they find important and why do they come to Instagram? And, to close the circle: for that, it’s useful to know what content they save – they find this extremely valuable!
